Peter Green: A Rare and Important Set of Handwritten Lyrics for the 1969 single, 'Man of The World’, by Fleetwood Mac, written and performed by Peter Green – Three lined notebook pages in Peter Green’s hand, each page titled ‘Man of the World’, blue ballpoint and black felt-tip pen, a few deletions and amendments but almost completely as per the released version, notes on the instrumentation and arrangement to the third page, 12.7 x 20.5cm. Peter Green (1946-2020) was a founding member of rock band Fleetwood Mac - and the genius behind the hits 'Albatross', 'Black Magic Woman', and 'Man of the World'. He is still widely regarded as one of the greatest guitarists and songwriters of all time, and despite leaving Fleetwood Mac in 1970, Peter’s pioneering talents gained him a following of faithful fans which include fellow legendary guitarists such as Jimmy Paige, Eric Clapton, Kirk Hammett, David Gilmour, and Noel Gallagher.
