Depicts twenty-six squares surrounded by a black line border, each with various abstract images rendered in shades of red, yellow, black, brown, and moss green, surrounding a central square light brown panel. Titled, in pencil, center of panel, numbered with additional inscription reading "nous la lettre" in pencil, lower left of panel, signed and dated "Alechinsky 1967", in pencil, lower right of panel. Float mounted and housed under plexiglass in a silver metal frame. Sheet: 35 3/8" H x 25" W. Framed: 43 5/8" H x 31 3/4" W.
