PIERRE-AUGUSTE RENOIR (French 1841-1919) "Le Fleuve Scmandre" Etching and soft ground etching on wove paper. Image: 9.2 x 7.2 inches; Sheet: 12 7/8 x 9 3/4 inches; Frame: 15 3/4 x 12 3/4 inches. Stamped signature lower right: Renoir. CONDITION: In overall good condition. When examined out of the frame the sheet is not laid down, but is tacked at the top with two pieces of archival tape. Severe mat burn around entire image, with minor foxing in the margin right below the image on the left side. Discoloration around very edge of the sheet on all four sides. No visible watermark to the paper.
