Very rare undescribed engraving, perhaps from a series on the "Life of Joseph", made by an anonymous engraver from 'Pieter Jalhea Furnius', an engraver originally from Liège and active in Antwerp.
Copy trimmed to the frame, on laid paper with traces of watermark, in good condition, some abrasions visible when held up to the light (see photo) .
Below the image, the Latin biblical inscription "De pretio pactus miserum. . . /. . . pietatis amore"; in the lower right corner, the number "5" of the series, consisting of at least 6 engravings.
Depicted is a man helping an old man by carrying him on the back of his horse.
