Vintage porcelain Set of 10 serving pieces: 8 small plates, 1 cake platter, 1 pie server, 'Dresden Duchess' by Harker, warranted 22K gold decorations, decorated with red-gold and flowers; golden rim, 1950s-1960s.

The square plates are 7.3/4" [19.7cm] diagonal; 6.3/4" [17.2cm] from side to side; very good near fine condition. The 12-inch [30.5cm] handled cake plate has some crackled glaze [antique look]. The pie server is c.9" [22.9cm] long, a little glaze crackling. Overall, no visible surface wear, no gold wear; no chips, no repairs, very good condition.

Harker Pottery Company of East Liverpool, Ohio, was incorporated in 1890 in East Liverpool, Ohio. The Harker family had been making pottery in the area since 1840. The plant was moved to Chester, West Virginia, in 1931. The Harker Potteries closed in 1972.
