Porsche - 912 - 1968

Porsche 912 from 1968 (produced in October 1967) in very good condition. It was manufactured from 1965 to 1969 as a cheaper version of its elder sister 911, of which the 912 retained the coupé body (and from 1966 also Targa) and the entire mechanics, apart from the engine, a 4-cylinder air-cooled boxer with a displacement of 1584 cm³ and 90 hp of the last Porsche 356 SC, which makes it easier to drive and economical in consumption and maintenance. This model is currently very sough-after by enthusiasts and its value is on the rise. In 2017 a Porsche 912 from 1967 was sold at auction at 114,400 USD (lot 107 Gooding & Company) , establishing a new benchmark for this model. This car was originally sold in 1967 in the USA and imported into Spain in 2015, where it was completely disassembled and restored. Rebuilt engine, like new and still running-in, with less than 1,000 km. Flawless interior restored in black leather (originally red) . The car body is British green (original colour: 6804) . Original factory accessories: Fuchs rims, 5-speed manual transmission (902/02 type) , equipped with 5 instruments. Car with a non-verifiable mileage of 50,000 miles. This car drives and shifts perfectly. Technical inspection valid until March 2020. With Spanish historic number plates (road tax-free, cheap insurance, technical inspection every 4 years) .
