Porsche - 914 - 1972
Nice Porsche 914 from 1972. The car was imported from America at the end of 2018 and was registered in the Netherlands in February 2019. The 1. 7 four-cylinder is equipped with a carburettor, with which the engine has recently been adjusted on the rolling road at Speedcentre in Geldermalsen. Stands on original Fuchs rims, also the spare wheel is by Fuchs. The Targa roof (not in the pictures) is in neat condition. The car was sprayed a few years ago but unfortunately not very neatly. The car drives, brakes, steers and springs well. The box shifts well, but there is a slack on the shift control, the parts to fix it are included. There are quite a few more things that can be improved on the car, but you can now drive directly and do not have to perform a complete restoration first. At the moment, a 914 is the cheapest way to get hold of an air-cooled Porsche. The engine is of Volkswagen and can be maintained relatively cheaply. The driving experience is really what you can expect from a Porsche, especially the curve behaviour by the perfect weight ratio with the engine directly behind the front seats. The prices of the 914 show an upward trend. The car can always be viewed and also a test drive is not a problem. This can happen in Putten, the Netherlands.
