Porsche - 944 - 1982

[ translate ]

The first generation Porsche 944 was introduced in 1982. It came with the 2. 5L four inline engine with 8 valves. The 944 was available with either a manual gearbox (5 gears) or with an automatic gearbox. The engine of the 944 is based on one half of the V8 from the Porsche 928. The Porsche 944 was based on the 924, there are many changes and improvements mainly to the exterior, such as a galvanised body with extended wheel arches and a rear spoiler. The galvanised bodywork is the biggest improvement point, so the body does not rust. This Porsche 944 was produced in 1982, which means this 944 is one of the first. In total there were only 3,921 944s produced in 1982. This 944 was resprayed in its original colour 'meteor metallic', this colour is quite rare on the Porsche 944. It has original 15” Porsche Teledials with good tyres. The interior is in very neat condition. The front seats and rear bench have been reupholstered. This 944 has a number of options such as a Targa roof, electric windows, rear fog lamp, rear windscreen wiper, electric mirrors. It had a major engine service recently. The timing belt and balance axle belt with corresponding rollers and tensioners, the water pump, the crankshaft seal, fluids, filters and spark plugs were replaced. The brake calipers in the front and rear were overhauled, all brake hoses and two pipes have been replaced and a few more repairs were carried out. An invoice is available (see photo 7) for 4,900 euros. In short, a very neat Porsche 944 built in 1982. The car comes with a recent Dutch Periodic Vehicle Inspection and a minor service. It can be viewed and collected in Hengelo, the Netherlands.
