Porsche - 944 - 1984
The first generation Porsche 944 was introduced in 1982. It came with the 2. 5L four inline engine with 8 valves. The 944 was available with either a manual gearbox (5 gears) or with an automatic gearbox. The engine of the 944 is based on one half of the V8 from the Porsche 928.
. The Porsche 944 was based on the 924, there are many changes and improvements mainly to the exterior, such as a galvanised body with extended wheel arches and a rear spoiler. The galvanised body is the biggest improvement, the which is why body does not rust.
. This Porsche 944 was produced in June of 1984. Which means it stems from the first 944 series.
. This 944 comes in the colour black. The exterior of this 944 is modified. It has a different front bumper, rear bumper, mirrors and a Spoiler tailgate with a spoiler on top.
. The company called Strosek Design Gmb. H & Co. KG was a German car tuner in Utting. At the beginning of the 21st century, Strosek was the tuner with the largest assortment of Porsche conversions in Europe.
. After 2011/2012, the production hall of the supplier called Polytech was hit by a fire, most of the moulds for the tuning parts were destroyed, Vittorio Strosek continued as a freelance car designer and has worked among others for Arden, RUF and Abt.
. The car stands on very neat 17” Porsche Cup 1 wheels.
. The interior is modified. It has two Cobra Monaco bucket seats and a removable steering wheel. It has a JBL sound system with various accessories such as amplifiers, speakers and a panel. Due to a defective radio, we were not able to test this sound system.
. The door cards have the Porsche inscription as an option. The entire interior is finished with aluminium and stainless steel parts.
. This Porsche 944 has some factory options like power steering, electric windows and a targa top.
. This Porsche 944 will be delivered with a Dutch periodic vehicle inspection and after a minor maintenance service.
. The car can be viewed and picked up in Hengelo, the Netherlands.
