Porsche - 944 - 1987
The first generation Porsche 944 was introduced in 1982. It came with the 2. 5L four inline engine with 8 valves. The 944 was available with either a manual gearbox (5 gears) or with an automatic gearbox. The second generation of the Porsche 944 was introduced in mid-1985. The main adjustments concern the car’s interior. With altered ergonomics, the seating position with regards to the steering wheel was much improved. This resulted in a lot more comfort. Also modified: the dashboard, door cards, front seats and climate control. Other changes were the higher capacity alternator, different oil reservoir capacity, new cast-aluminium front and rear suspension, larger fuel tank, optional heated and electrically adjustable seats, optional 10” Porsche Hi. Fi system, renewed starter motor, modified powertrain to reduce vibration and noise, and the ‘teledial’ wheels as a standard. This Porsche 944 is from 1987. It has the metallic paint finish 'zermattsilber'. The paint is in good condition for its age. It has a Turbo/S2 under spoiler (diffuser) . It has very neat 15” Teledial wheels with good tyres. Half-leather interior. Front seats and rear bench are upholstered. The leather with the 'pin-stripe velour' pattern is a nice combination. The interior is in neat condition for its age. It includes an invoice for a major maintenance service, new distribution worth €5700 from a Porsche dealer. The car comes with a new Dutch periodic vehicle inspection and will be delivered after a minor service. This vehicle can be viewed and picked up in Hengelo (Beckum) , the Netherlands.
