Porsche 944 Turbo S from 1988. Also known as Porsche 951 (mainly intended for the US market - few units in Europe) , 250 hp M44/52 engine; A model that came virtually “race ready” with adjustable suspension, oversized brakes, magnesium wheels and further reduced car weight. History of the car for sale: Purchased new in 1988 from “Autocentri Balduina”, it has had only 2 owners, the second of whom purchased it in 1991. The car has been regularly serviced at Autocentri Balduina and other authorised Porsche workshops, and everything is fully documented, including inspections. Left idle in a garage in 2002, it was bought by us in 2020 and completely restored from a mechanical point of view (this too is all documented!) . Original “Roma” plate. 181,000 km. Condition Exterior: the first paint is not perfect, but we prefer to sell it this way to appreciate its state of originality and preservation (total absence of rust) ; or we can repaint it professionally (quote only after viewing) . Interior: original, in excellent condition. Mechanical parts: the engine was removed and completely restored; the most important work (documented) is described below: - fuel pump - fuel filter - Mobil oil for 2x changes, first for washing - oil filter - gearbox oil - ceramic oil treatment for engine and gearbox - air filter - spark plugs - spark plug cables - coil - distribution cap - starter - steering box - intake manifold gaskets - exhaust manifold gaskets - total overhaul of exhaust and valve - total overhaul of valve by Saito specialist - Sachs clutch kit - complete distribution and water pump kit - complete set of engine oil seals - ultrasonic injector cleaning and calibration, new o-rings - oil hoses - air hoses - rubber seals and front swing arm supports - restored original magnesium wheels - new tyres Standard features: central locking, ABS, air conditioning (everything works, only the coolant must be refilled) . Defects not visible in photos: front and rear bumpers have areas where the clear coat is peeling off, window seals are slightly cracked. It can be viewed in Rome, Italy.
