Smith" probably George Smith (c. 1763-c. 1802), gouache on cardboard, 3 1/4 x 4 1/2 in., in period gilt gesso wood frame, 10 x 12 in.; Jacob Kirby Ringgold was a member of the prosperous and wealthy Ringgold Family from the Eastern Shore of Maryland.
