An oil on board portrait of an older Quaker woman from the school of Zedekiah Belknap. Belknap was a Massachusetts artist born in 1781 and died in 1858. The woman is seated in a blue chair and holds a book. She wears a black dress with a white scarf and a bonnet with her glasses resting on the bonnet.

Dimensions are: framed, 35 inches tall X 30 inches wide, 88.9 cm X 76.2 cm. All measurements are approximate.

Condition: There is some spotting to the paint.
