18th century AD and earlier. A mixed group of mother of pearl and agate beads and pendants with a cross-shaped Stanhope bone pendant with inset lense for viewing. 148 grams total, 0.6-28cm (1/4 - 11"). From the private collection of jewellery designer Natalia Josca (1933-2007), New York, USA; her collection formed personally from 1972-early 1980s, much of which was later made into designer jewellery.
