Poul Henningsen 1894-1967. Pendant lamp, 'Artichoke’, 72 steel blades, on 12 chromed steel arcs. Complete with chromed aluminium socket cover, wire suspension, white fabric cord. Designed in 1957-1959 for Langelinie Pavilion, Copenhagen. Produced by Louis Poulsen. Ø 84 cm. Includes one 300W bulb. Has been lightly renovated at Hellerup Elektrikeren, including a new lamp housing, wire suspension, and fabric cord. Without plastic canopy and top aluminium pipes. Wear on individual leaves.
