A Pair of Chinese Liao Dynasty Glazed Ceramic Vases, c. 907-1125. Each having amber glaze over white slip decoration, vases consists of a flared trumpet style rim and tapered neck and ovoid body, with double incised lines decorating the neck and shoulder. Unmarked; "Sze Yuan Tang Collection" labels at the underside of each. Some firing flaws to each. 14" high. ESTIMATE $1,000-2,000 Purchased from Christie's auction in September of 1995.
