Propaganda Poster America First Presidents

Original antique WWI propaganda poster published in 1918 in Chicago Illinois featuring three American presidents: the President at the time, Woodrow Wilson (1856-1924; 28th US President 1913-1921), with two past presidents who rank amongst the most important in US history - the Founding Father and first American President George Washington (1732-1799; in office 1789-1797), and the 16th President Abraham Lincoln (1809-1865; in office 1861-1865). The World War One era artwork also features iconic symbolism and images including the national bird an American bald eagle carrying the Liberty Bell (completed 1752), a navy sailor / naval midshipman and an army soldier saluting in front of the American flag and banners with flags over the official residence of the President of the United States the White House in Washington D.C., the banners reading Freedom Equality Justice / For All America First Forever and the Liberty Bell reading Proclaim Liberty Throughout all the Land unto all the Inhabitants Thereof.
