Qing Dynasty Blue Underglazed White Porcelain Suantouping Vase W/Eternal Knot Motif (From a Vietnamese Royal Family) - This porcelain vase is of typical Suantouping form with a pear-shaped body and a slender neck rising to a garlic bulb-shaped mouth. The vase is elaborately decorated in a vivid cobalt blue underglaze with an ornate eternal knot motif. The bottom of the piece bears a double circle blue underglazed mark typical of the Kangxi period when the use of nianhao (imperial reign marks) was suspended. This piece comes from the estate of a Vietnamese Royal Family (the family now lives in the United States, and wishes to remain private as they still have relatives living in Vietnam). Measurements: 11"H x 6.5"W.
