RABBI CHAYIM ZUCKER OF NAGYHALASZ AND BEREGSASZ, LETTER TO RABBI SHLOMO ZALMAN EHRENREICH , RABBI OF SOMLYO. HANDWRITTEN SIGNED LETTER.

Postcard dated Tzom Gedalia 5679 (1918) expressing good wishes for the New Year, and adding a letter to Rabbi Yehoshua Ehrenreich.

Rabbi Chayim Zucker (1880-1944), son of Rabbi Eliezer Zucker of Beregsasz and son-in-law of Rabbi Yaakov Peretz Silberman of Ratzfert. Rabbi of Nagyhalasz (1862) before succeeding his father in Beregsasz in 1922.

Rabbi Shlomo Zalman Ehrenreich (1863-1944), grandson and disciple of Rabbi Avraham Yehuda Schwartz – author of Kol Aryeh, Rabbi of Szikso (1888), Csaba (1892) and Somlyo (1899) where he headed a large Yeshiva and was greatly respected. Author of Lechem Shlomo and 30 unpublished manuscripts - lost after his murder in the Holocaust.

Rabbi Yehoshua Ehrenreich (d. 1959), son of Rabbi Shlomo Zalman Ehrenreich - author of Lechem Shlomo, Rabbi of Somlyo. Succeeded his father as Rabbi of Somlyo after the Holocaust, later settling in Jerusalem.
