RABBI MOSHE FELDMAN, RABBI OF GALANTA, LETTER TO RABBI MORDECHAI HOROWITZ, RABBI OF FRANKFURT. HANDWRITTEN SIGNED LETTER.

Letter dated 1893, regarding Rabbi Feldman’s brother-in-law, Yehuda Friedman, who was studying in Rabbi Horowitz’s Yeshiva, requesting his supervision and encouragement in his studies.

Rabbi Moshe Feldman (1860-1927), son-in-law and successor of Rabbi Shimon Friedman, Rabbi of Galanta. Chief Rabbi of Budapest (from 1911).

Rabbi Mordechai Horowitz (b. 1844), son-in-law of Rabbi Yaakov Ettlinger – author of Aruch Lener. Rabbi of Frankfurt. Author of Matteh Levi, as well as historical books on the Frankfurt community and its rabbis.
