RARE APULIAN RED-FIGURE TROZZELLA

Very rare specimen of Apulian trozzella decorated with red-figure technique. The main decoration is arranged on the two sides of the body and is surrounded by vertical lines on the top, a lateral double dotted-lines and the wave motif beneath. On one side , the head of a woman in profile, adorned with earrings and necklace; on the other one, a Dyonisiac scene with a naked young, holding a phiale and a wreath. The additional decoration consists of stylized geometrical patterns, which coat the vessel entirely.
