Technique: Etching and drypoint Etching on paper with water mark: Krone
Size: 8 1/4 x 6 1/3 in
Inscription: lower right signed and dated: "Rembrand f 1651", verso collector's stamp: "Franz Schartiger Siegen"

Condition: At all in good condition, trimmed close to or partly slightly within the platemark. Paper a little bit wavy at upper left corner. At the back side remains of old mounts. Possibly smaller pen-and-ink retouchings in the shadow at the left side of the face.

Description: Good impression of the V resp. VI state (the difference are only two small dots in the upper right corner) with the triangle on the chair on the right, but before the further shading of the VII state. At upper right the halfround frame printed slightly offset.
