NSN. BARREL 24.5" CALIBER .22 SHOT. Made from 1948-71. This is a single shot bolt action with plain pistol grip walnut stock, blue barrel and Remington plastic butt plate. Fine bore and action. Rifle has single bead front sight. Metal retains 98% original blue finish. Wood is excellent with minor impressions. This is a rare rifle not even listed in the Remington Firearms book by Shideler. According to the book Remington .22 Rimfire Rifles by Gyde and Marcot, the Routledge was only made in limited quantities from 1951-1968. C&R
