ROBYN DENNY
1930-2014
S. 12

signed three times, titled, dated 1960, '60 and 5.2.60 and inscribed on the reverse
oil on canvas
101.5 by 101.5cm.; 40 by 40in.

Condition Report:
The canvas appears to be original and undulates slightly, most notably at the corners. There is a small push to the upper left green triangle. There is some extremely minor variation to the colour towards the top of the grey triangle. There are instances of abrasions to the extreme edges with small flecks of loss, with some further more minor rubbing towards the extreme edges, most evident towards the lower edge. There are faint stretcher bar marks towards the edges. There is a small speck of loss to the top edge of the left green triangle, and a further instance to the lower right triangle, with some associated lifting, with one or two more minor instances elsewhere and further instances of light rubbing. There is a faint scratch to the bottom of the diamond, with faint to the lower left triangle, to the right edge, the centre of the left edge and further more minor instances elsewhere. There is surface light dust the surface, with instances of studio detritus and accretions. This excepting, the work appears to be in very good overall condition.

Inspection under Ultraviolet light appears to reveal one instance of fluorescence and probable retouching to the upper left triangle, with one or two further more minor spot retouchings elsewhere.

The work is presented unframed.
