ROLEX - a gentleman's Oyster Precision wrist watch. Circa 1948. Stainless steel case with engraved case back. Reference 4647, serial 555671. Signed manual wind movement. Silvered dial with Arabic numeral hour markers. Fitted to an unsigned brown leather strap with stainless steel pin buckle. 31mm.
Condition Report: Movement is currently functioning.
Movement has scratches, marks and tarnishing commensurate with general wear visible to the naked eye.
Dial appears to have noticeable marks and scratches. Hour markers have degraded.
Hands show marks and tarnishing with discolouration to the luminous paint.
Glass has noticeable scuffs and multiple scratches.
Case shows scratches, marks and dints. Case may have been polished in the past and has personal engraving on the back.
Crown screws down and has scratches and marks.
Strap shows marks and creasing.
Buckle shows noticeable marks and scratches.
This lot does not come with box or papers.
