Condition Report:
In good condition. Signs of normal wear to the metal consistent with regular use. Mounting stamped Pt900 for platinum, 2.03 and D0.77 referring to the weight of the ruby and total weight of the diamonds. Diamond weight stated in the catalogue description is based on the stamped weight. Ruby is of medium deep red colour and strong saturation, eye clean, one very tiny chip only noticeable under close inspection. Diamonds are about H colour, SI clarity, as graded in the mounting. Accompanied by GRS report no. GRS2014-011970, dated 18 January 2014, stating that the ruby is of Mozambican origin, with no indication of thermal treatment. Also accompanied by an appendix stating that the ruby is reminiscent in colour saturation of "GRS-type pigeon's blood ruby" (without strong fluorescence).
