Rare A.S. Fowle No. 7 Salmon Fly Reel
Returning to Lang's after selling in the March 1992 auction is this rare "A.S. Fowle - No. 7" marked reel, with a bullet shaped grasp at the end of the crank arm. The German silver reel has a constant click, raised click housing on the tail plate and a raised pillar frame with roller pillars at the 4 and 8 o'clock positions. The 3 3/4" diameter (not including the pillars) reel has a 1 3/4" wide spool, and remains in VG condition, having foot ends that are slightly up-turned and a crank arm with a very slight twist - each could be remedied if desired.
