Fine sterling silver pedestal cake basket with a hinged handle and a rolled applied edge, engraved and chased along the border with medallions of classical beauties, vines, berry, wheat and scroll motifs, with a sunburst motif inside, domed circular foot, monogrammed "G" on the handle top. Marked with Tiffany and Co. hallmark, and Gorham hallmark for 1863-1890's and "112". Weighs 23.09 toz.
