Provenance/Additional Info: This is a very rare Antique Holmes County Ohio Amish "Friendship Quilt".. These "Friendship Quilts" were usually made for new neighbors.. This one is made of cotton and cotton sateen.. It dates from around 1915-1920.. Each block has the embroidered initials of one of the welcoming neighbors.. There is one block with the name Yoder.. I imagine this is the name of the family the quilt was made for.. This quilt was found in the village of Charm in Holmes County, Ohio.. It is in MINT, Unused, Unwashed Condition and has NO issues.. It measures 70" X 78"
