Rare Bronze Plaque The Entomologist by L Patriarche

This Bronze plaque by L. Patriarche is dated 1911 and titled "The Entomologist". On the plaque is embossed J.H. Fabre Entromologiste who was a well know Entomologist in France during the mid to late 1800's. It depicts an older well dressed gentleman by the name of J.H Fabre (1823-1915) sitting by a plant and inspecting its leaves. The texture is quite beautiful and this piece is in good used condition with no known damages and very little rusting on the bottom (see image). Measures 4" x 6".Â
