Rare Collection of Barham Downs Golf Club (Est. 1891- WWI) Collection of 3x silver medals won by H D Hirst - the obverse engraves with period golfer at the top of his golf swing and on the reverse of the one visible is engraved "Barham Downs Golf Club - Monthly Medal - Won by - H D Hirst - Jan 1894" c/w blue and white ribbons - each mounted on red cloth c/w results printed and laid down above the medals which makes for interesting reading - the winner of ladies section Miss E Ramsay who played off "Plus 3" matching Hirsts Score of 84 (81 gross!!) recording a record for the ladies and under the most appalling weather conditions- mf&g overall 11.25 x 15.25" From the late David Easby Estate
