Rare Royal Air Force 2 and half Minute Sector Clock, the silk-screen printed 14 inch dial with inside pointing coloured 2½ minute sectors, appear to be hand-painted, very slightly darkened, black laurel wreath RAF emblem, Arabic numerals, polished brass bezel and correct F W Elliott single chain fusee movement number 5779, dated 1939, key wind aperture to front, mahogany case, the backbox stamped with Air Ministry crown AM mark and 'MADE BY F.W. ELLIOTT LTD ENGLAND 1939', the 9 appears to be double struck. Held with four pegs (two replacements), complete with brass pendulum (detached).
