DESCRIPTION: Raymonde Desabres (French-American, 1925-2020). Three pcs ceramics, each signed Re to bottom. Includes candle holder, cup, and small vase. Raymonde "Ré" Désabres Plaut (1925-2020) was a long-respected Harrisburg artist and an active member of the Art Association of Harrisburg. Born in France, where she aided the French Resistance against the Nazis, Re eventually relocated to Pennsylvania, where her art won several awards and was displayed in many exhibitions, including the State Museum of Pennsylvania. MEASUREMENTS: 3" to 4" wide x 4" to 6-1/4" high. CONDITION: Some crazing to vase and inside cup. IMPORTANT: Before bidding, please read the terms and conditions.
