Relief, couple of young girls embracing each other - Brass, Bronze - Early 20th century
I sell a beautiful plaque from the early 20th century, made of bronze/brass and very heavy, approx. 7 kg. It depicts a couple of girls hugging each other. The bas-relief has an almost oval shape, made with lost wax technique than hand finished. Recently it underwent a background colouring which brought out the figures embracing. On the back are two hanging hooks. Size: 50 x 31. 5 cm.
