Beautiful full-page portrait of the author (see photos) . Numerous fine woodcut drop caps adorn the text. Firm coeval parchment hardcover. Precious manuscript with decorations on the spine, where there are some slight abrasions at the edges. In very good condition. Interiors also well preserved. Slight abrasions at the edge of the first 2/3 sheets, including the cover page (see photo) , which results, along with the portrait, untouched, without writing or erasing. Crisp and firm sheets. Sporadic browning. All blank sheets are coeval and present. Collated. Complete.
