Lost wax casting depicting Krishna Venugopala standing while playing the flute. The divine shepherd with an elegant sense of movement raises his hands gracefully holding a (missing) flute. On a lotus with a raised border, he is cross-legged, adorned with jewels and a headdress that reflect the real origin. The bronze is in excellent condition; surface wear originating from the prolonged use of rubbing during the puja, the daily religious rituals. Obvious sediment traces of vermilion red powder.
