Robert Wyland "Children of the Sea" Dolphins

Robert Wyland (American, b. 1956). Pair of sculptures titled "Children of the Sea," depicting a pair of jumping dolphins. One is cast in pale purple acrylic and the other is cast in bronze. The bronze sculpture rests on a marble base and is signed, dated 1990, and numbered 270/300 along the dolphin's tail.
Bronze; Height: 9 3/4 in x width: 8 1/4 in x depth: 6 1/2 in. Acrylic; Height: 9 1/2 in x width: 8 1/4 in x depth: 5 in.
Condition Report: The dolphins are in good condition with no visible chips, cracks, or losses. The dolphin captured left in the lot listing has dust collected to its surface, particularly in recessed areas. There is a light discoloration to where the horizontal dolphin meets the column. The dolphin, right in the listing, has very light wear to the marble base. Both items have wear to the underside, consistent with age and use. No visible sign of restoration under UV light.
