"Solar Star" Let me introduce myself: I am Robert van den Herik. Dutch designer, living in Belgium. I work in Maastricht, the Netherlands. Studied at the Design Academy Eindhoven. I have worked for several companies as a product designer. I was a real problem solver. Later I worked in the field of "Art versus Design". My style is: Harmonious, natural, organic, innovative, free in constructing and searching for shapes that are not obvious. All my work is made in limited edition or one-off. Now I'm retired and started painting. . . . Solar Star A wooden base with a metal dish attached to it. Painted with acrylic paint. Very decorative. The measurements are 80 x 80 x 10 cm. On the artwork is the signature of the artist. Weight 14 kg.
