Rolex: An Art Deco 9 Carat Gold Rectangular Wristwatch, signed Rolex, 1935, manual wound lever movement signed, silvered dial with Arabic numerals and signed, seconds dial, case with a snap-on back numbered 19481 2372, inside back cover stamped RWC.Ltd and Glasgow gold import mark for 1935 24mm by 30mm
Case with surface scratches, bezel with very minor dents visible under an eyeglass, back cover with serial number slightly rubbed, inside part of the gold bezel with two small signs of past gold solder repair marks which have been done to a high standard, this is not visible by looking at the front view of the bezel, later strap and buckle, later crown is rubbed, dial has discoloured and the Rolex signature is slightly rubbed, dial with minor scratches, winding stem is pulling out into the hand set position, but clicks back into the winding position when winding the watch, the hand setting side of the watch will need to be checked when serviced, winding smoothly, movement in going order. We are happy to provide Condition Reports to prospective buyers, but would welcome your request as soon as possible, preferably at least 48 hours before the Day of Sale. We cannot guarantee a reply to any requests made within 48 hours of the start of the auction. The absence of a Condition Report from a lot does not mean that the lot is in perfect condition.
