The time was just before the outbreak of World War II. Simple and practical sports watches were in demand. It is waterproof, shockproof, and can be read in the dark. The watches of this era are minimalist, which gives them universality as wristwatches. The mechanism has been maintained, so you can use it with confidence.
The dial has faded, but it is not very severe and does not look dirty. The white dial has aged to a grayish color overall, but it has a nice look. The blued steel hand of the small seconds has turned giving it a good contrast. The case shows almost no polishing history and there are no major scratches or dents. Considering its age, it is in excellent condition.
