Condition Report:
Case: The case is in very good condition with some signs of wear and use consistent with age. Service crown. There are some visible scratches and scuffs to the case and case back. There are numerous visible scratches to the back of the lugs. The gold has started to patina to the case, case back, and on the bracelet. The gold marks are crisp on the inner case back. The inner case back is stamped ‘1503’ and the folding clasp is stamped ‘4 66’. The bracelet and folding clasp are in commensurate condition with one link that has been previously repaired. Watchmaker’s marks are present on the inner case back.

Dial: The dial is in very good condition. The hands and luminous plots do not react to UV light.

Movement: The movement is running at time of cataloging, however it was not tested for the accuracy of time or duration of the power reserve and may need service at the buyer's discretion. Please note that Sotheby's does not guarantee the future working of the movement.
