Case: The case is in good condition with some signs of use consistent with age. There are scratches and scuffing to the case and the case back, some visible to the naked eye. There are some scratches to the back of the lugs. The case back has some scratches as well. Crystal has some scratching and scuffing throughout, many visible to the naked eye. The inner case back is stamped ‘1500’, end links are stamped ‘53’, and the folding clasp is stamped ‘69’. The bracelet and folding clasp are in commensurate condition. Bracelet has noticeable stretch and was later added.
Dial: The dial has some dust and debris around the luminous plots. Some oxidation to the hands.
Movement: The movement is running at the time of cataloging, however it was not tested for accuracy of time or duration of the power reserve and may need service at the buyer's discretion. Please note that Sotheby's does not guarantee the future working of the movement.
