Case: The case is in overall very good condition with surface scratches and nicks throughout consistent with regular wear. Previously polished. Visible scratches and scuffs on the case back. Minor nicks near the 7 and 10-hour markers. Inner case back is stamped ‘6234’, with watchmaker’s marks. The lugs remain with strong proportions. Please note the strap and buckle are generic and not signed Rolex.
Dial: The dial is in overall good condition. The seconds hand shows signs of oxidation consistent with age, and the lume plots on the hands have darkened slightly. Small signs of oxidation around the outer edges of the dial. The tritium lume plots are reactive under UV light.
Movement: The movement is running at time of cataloging, however it was not tested for the accuracy of time or duration of the power reserve and may need service at the buyer's discretion. Please note that Sotheby's does not guarantee the future working of the movement.
