Black dial with 'Mercedes' hands, gold graphic with depth indication in silver. Watch in excellent aesthetic condition and working order, comes with original Rolex box, year 1959. Rolex Submariner ref. 5508 constitutes the latest evolution of models which are water resistant up to 100 m (330 ft) . The reduced thickness case is similar to that of the Submariner ref. 6536/1, and the movement is the new calibre 1530. It was made until 1962, both in the standard version and in the COSC certified version, dating back to the last production period.
