[ translate ]

Model: Day-Date Tridor
Reference: 18039B
Case Material: Yellow, Pink and White gold
Bracelet Material: Yellow, Pink and White gold
Year: 1987
Movement: Automatic
Caliber: 3055
Case N°: 9823658
Dimensions: 36 mm
Signed: Dial, movement and case

The Day-Date is Rolex’s most prestigious line of dress watches since it was launched in 1956. Predominantly produced in either gold or platinum, Rolex introduced a special variant of the series during the 1980s. Reference 18 129 is a whimsical stylistic exercise by Rolex, a remarkable timepiece, realized in what Rolex called “tridor”: a combination of the three gold colors using 18K yellow gold, pink gold and white gold in a blend to display these different materials on the center link of the bracelet. Referenced the 18 239, the production of the Tridor seized in the early 2000s. With very nice conditions of both case and bracelet, the present lot also strikes for the vivid blue dial with applied baton indexes, outer track for minutes and Roman numerals and the English calendar.

Estimate € 12000 - 24000
