The Rolls-Royce Corniche was the coupé and convertible model of the Silver Shadow since 1971. In contrast to the Silver Shadow, the Corniche stayed in production until 1996. In the past, the model existed as the Silver Shadow Coupé and Silver Shadow Drophead Coupé, but they received their own name in 1971. Between 1971 and 1982, a total of 1108 Rolls-Royce Corniche Coupes were produced (less than 100 per year) . Especially the first generation Corniche coupe with chrome bumpers (up to 1976) is very popular and virtually impossible to find, only few copies of this very unique car are offered in Europe. This concerns a Corniche produced in February 1971, one of the first Rolls-Royce Corniches. This is a neatly maintained car. The engine idles nicely at 900 rpm, the car shifts smoothly and powerfully through all gears and it brakes properly. Optically, however, the car requires some attention. For example, the seats are a bit damaged and the paintwork shows small traces of wear. The original interior is still in a neat condition, as depicted. The car of course still has its original engine and transmission and is therefore completely matching numbers.
