Rev: COS V P P S P Q R OPTIMO PRIN[C] , Pax standing left holding olive branch and leaning on column. Ref: RIC II 126 var. (bust type) ; BMCRE 318; RSC 83 var. (same) ; Woytek 286f. 2. 83g, 17mm, 7h. Good Very Fine; attractive pale old cabinet tone, minor scratch on obverse. From the inventory of a UK dealer. Woytek remarks on p. 337, that on very few dies of this type the column on the reverse is barely visible, as is the case here.
