Roman/Byzantine bronze double nozzle oil lamp
A late Roman/Byzantine bronze double nozzle oil lamp, c. 5th - 6th Century AD, with hinge for original lid. The large fill-hole is bordered by ridges and the long nozzles have round profile and oval wick-holes. 2 x 4 3/4 in (5 x 12.1 cm). Nicely patinated. Ex Toronto private collection.
