A 'Blue Fluted Plain' porcelain tureen with cover and stand, Royal Copenhagen, model 214 and 217, 1898-1923.

Oval. Rocaille-shaped handles, shell shaped finial with waves. Decor in underglaze blue. Height 23 cm. The tureen marked "1/214", painter's mark "2" green stamp "Royal Copenhagen", the interior oc the cover marked with painter's mark "2".
The stand's length 42 cm. Marked "1/217" painter's mark "2" green stamp "Royal Copenhagen".
Original modeller of the tureen C. Stibolt August 1892, stand J. Jacobsen October 1891.
