A 'Blue Fluted Plain' porcelain tureen with cover, Royal Copenhagen, model 405, 1966.

Oval. Tureen with rocaille shaped handles and shell shaped finial with a wave. Decoration in underglaze blue. Marked "1/405" blue painter's signature "xa." and green stamp "Royal Copenhagen Denmark", the interior of the cover marked "1/405-2001." blue paniters signature "44." and'bølgelinier' / wave pattern. The tureen's height 12, length between handles 23 cm.
Originally called "Ragoutfad/lågfad, oval" modeler J. Jacobsen February 1897.
